Our program "The World and Me"
More than a school trip: a transformative experience
Offer your students more than a simple trip: give them an experience that begins well before they set off and keeps giving after they return.
“The World and Me” is a free toolkit that helps youth learn more about themselves, discover their place in the world and find meaning in their adventures. Through simple, engaging activities, they develop skills they can use all their lives.
The content of the program
Teacher’s Guide
A practical guide to help you incorporate times to brainstorm and chat, before during and after the trip. Each activity is designed to spark curiosity and enrich the experience.
travel journal
A printable notebook where students can note their impressions, take on challenges and keep track of what they discover – about the world and themselves.
Video Capsules
Short, inspiring videos that present the program’s challenges, make them easier to understand and bring them to life. They offer ideas to start discussions and encourage reflection.

Our travel grant
Bring a transformative trip to life for your students
We truly believe that the benefits of travel on personal development should be accessible to all young people.
Thanks to our “Travel Aid” grant, we support school travel projects for students in the 5th and 6th grades from disadvantaged backgrounds in Quebec.
We are currently accepting applications for funding
Your school travel project could benefit from funding of up to $10,000. For the 2025-2026 year, five grants will be given out to inspiring school travel projects.
Submit your project by completing the grant request form to have the opportunity to benefit from our support and offer your class an unforgettable adventure.

I’m a teacher of a class of primary school students (5th or 6th grade) in Quebec.
My class is in a Quebec public school with a deprivation index in deciles 8, 9 or 10.
I have a letter of support from school management who stand behind my class’s travel project.
My trip will take place in the spring of 2026, no earlier than February 1st 2026.
Unfortunately, you’re not eligible for the grant.

Since 2022, Rando Québec has been working with the Société pour la nature et les parcs (SNAP Québec) to better characterize the ecosystems crossed by the Trans Canada Trail and study the different mechanisms to protect it in perpetuity.
